super soft

super beautiful and soft, the buttons are spaced out and kinda pull in a weird way so size up! the waist cinches in nicely as well as the sleeves around the wrists

The plastic bag it came in left a slight smell but it’ll go away.

So incredibly soft and it doesn't really require any special care.

So many things are RIGHT about this. First of all, it's a true white sweater. They're kind of impossible to find in women's sweaters. You usually end up with ivory, cream or some other kind of off-white. Not sure if it's a hold-over from the "no white after Labor Day" fashion rules or what, all I know is that they're damn hard to find. This cardigan is just SO SOFT right out of the package. It has a dolman sleeve and longer ribbing at the cuff (I think it's called a lantern sleeve/cuff) and it's also ribbed at the waist. It's a shorter sweater, not a tunic length. The buttons on it are on the large side, but they just work really well with the look and blend in seamlessly.We got this in a size larger than she normally wears because she wanted it to be looser and a little over sized. She loved the way it fit and I would say it runs true to size. The feel of it against the skin is super soft and snuggly. It's one of those sweaters that is also really versatile. Great to wear with jeans or leggings or you can dress it up, as well. Leave a few buttons undone and it can be worn kinda slouchy and off the shoulder, but it also looks very put together due to the design and detailing. It also doesn't really require any special care. We found out (by accident) that it can go through a regular load of laundry AND through the dryer and come out looking perfectly fine with no pilling or shrinkage. (Dad did the laundry one weekend.....good Lord the screeching and drama that occurred when she found out her sweater was in the dryer with a bunch of jeans was epic.) So yeah, it's definitely a favorite and it's good to know it doesn't have to be "babied" when it comes to cleaning.....cause it's going to be living in the college dorm and their idea of doing laundry doesn't include anything close to special care.

Very soft; funny shape

This sweater is amazingly soft. It's much thicker than it looks in the pictures, which makes this sweater really heavy and warm.With thickness and warmth comes bulkiness. This sweater looks like it could be worn as a dress sweater over a blouse, but I find it to be too fitted on the arms and too bulky and loose around the mid section to look nice over a blouse.
